SoccerPulse is delighted to announce that Skylar Richards will be joining the SoccerPulse team as a Technical Consultant.
Starting in the MLS in 2007, Skylar's primary focus is not the classic sports science approach but injury prevention through scalable detection and recovery strategies. These strategies focus on increased training availability, not load management.
In 2015, he organized various club partnership to open the first US professional soccer recovery lab integrating daily recovery, prevention, integrated soft tissue mobilization, nutrition, and anti-inflammatory modalities.
Skylar had previously worked as the Head ATC for FC Dallas in MLS, where he worked as an ATC, FMS, and massage therapist overseeing 4 athletic trainers, sports nutritionist, massage therapists, chiropractors, and sports scientists for all FCD teams, U12-18 Team and the pro team.
"I'm delighted that Skylar has joined the SoccerPulse Team and help us further improve the product for coaches" said SoccerPulse Creator Matt Danaher. "As someone who works in the industry and has first hand experience dealing with training load and injuries, Skylar's feedback and help has been invaluable so far. We're very excited with what we will be developing in the future for players and coaches."
Skylar will be actively involved in research and product development for SoccerPulse.
